A weekend of learning! @zannilouise has a gift for bringing together top shelf creators who generously share their wisdom, expertise, humility and encouragement. Thanks to #annamcfarlane, publisher at @allenandunwin, @ursuladubosarsky, former Children’s Laureate who I first met at an Abbotsleigh Literary Festival many moons ago, @ledden_lewis_art, whose sense of fun is on a par with her extraordinary talent and the beloved @annafienberg4192 who guided us through a deep dive of insights and aha moments. Final post about the weekend… A huge thank you @zannilouise for creating these retreats for aspiring and published authors to connect, learn and write. I always come away feeling inspired and joyful about writing, which is why I now describe myself as Chief Zanni Groupie. (I accept that @sharondalgleishauthor and @billierooneywrites might jostle me for the title…) Thanks, Zanni. You’re a treasure!
