Thankful for the gentle humility of kidlit creators. Exhibit A – @jadey.draws I met Jade just over a year ago, when she was already a successful illustrator, and it has been so exciting to see her star continue to rise. I celebrated with her on Saturday for the launch of her latest series, Yarn Quest, written beautifully by Brooke Scobie. It was obvious at the launch that this fantasy, adventure series, complete with Story Spirits, is a passion project for them both, and I can’t wait to lose myself in this magical world. I’m sure this series is going to be a huge success.
