A very special gift yesterday from Dad – an original 1944 edition of @theschoolmagazine featuring a story he wrote when he was just 8 years of age. Hardly surprising that he could write so well back then; he’s always been an incredible wordsmith and communicator, even now at 88 years of age. (Meanwhile, I’ll keep persisting with my submissions and hopefully see my name in print in the same publication!)
